Why you need a Lawyer.

Posted by admin in Legal
Have you ever thought about representing yourself in a bankruptcy hearing?  If you ever have, you have probably dismissed the idea if you possess any wisdom. There is a reason lawyers say that the person who represents himself has a fool for a client. They even say this of lawyers who represent themselves in court.  The process of filing for bankruptcy may be simple, but the court hearings and getting debts discharged are not simple.
A person who hires a lawyer may get many of his older debts discharged. A client who can get his debts discharged before he goes to trial can have a better outcome in the settlement. The new bankruptcy laws require a debtor to pay back his debts if he is able. As long as the debtor keeps up on the payments, the debts get discharged after three years. A person may rarely find all of his debts discharged.
